Review of Slacker Uprising (2007) by Radek C — 03 May 2009
I'm all for Michael Moore, despite his selfrighteousness and the fact that he gets a bigger applause than Eddie Vedder ;) after all, he's a master of documentary and what's even more important - he holds strong beliefs, he speaks his mind and doesn't need any cue cards.
But one thing really bothers me - if he truly is so patriotic and so compassionate towards all the victims of Bush administration, why didn't he do this tour pro bono? I'm sure Moore's well-off enough to afford a month touring round US, encouraging slackers of all states to rush to polling places - and to vote for Democrats.
A little charity action for the greater good. Anyway, there's not much content in this documentary, yet it's powerful enough to grab your atention.
