Review of Slacker (1990) by Noah R — 08 Jul 2007
Richard Linklater's debut film and part of the early 90's film Renaissance period, Slacker takes you on a journey through the hot, sunny, and slow days in Austin Texas where we follow people who question reality, religion, politics, family, and our own self.
This was one of the first movies to introduce it's so-called-"Plot less" narrative with it's never ending storytelling-like dialogue. ( Kevin Smith, anyone?) A must-see for the philosophical type.
