Review of Slacker (1990) by John C — 06 Jan 2008
A plotless ramble through 24 hours with Austin's disaffected youth as they discuss pop culture, conspiracy theories, anti-artists and not working, never has a movie that goes nowhere been so interesting.
Linklater connects it brilliantly and the largely unproffessional cast sell it perfectly. A low budget gem.
