Review of Slacker (1990) by Matt C — 30 Dec 2009
When Linklater is good he's really good, 'Dazed and Confused' is still one of my favourite films. But when he's bad, oh lordy. Put this alongside 'Scanner Darkly' and 'Fast Food Nation' for just a total waste of time and effort.
Nothing happening and the sort of observations a child could make. Pretentious and pointless.
