Review of Slacker (1990) by Maxwell S — 07 Sep 2012
Using a masterful technique, Linklater makes, by far, his greatest film. The first film I believe to have used this was Luis Bunuel's "The Phantom of Liberty". Anyway, each and every character in this film has a strong meaning, but it makes you wonder how Linklater even came up with them.
I honestly can't describe it. I am a HUGE cinephile and this film astonishes me more and more each time.
