Skyscraper, or Die Hard 2018 if you will, never for one second makes you think Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is in one iota of danger so on that level it fails. But it does have some otherwise suspenseful moments with wife Neve Campbell and their perfect kiddies and seeing Johnson actually vulnerable and even scared is a step up from the usual smirking, tongue in cheek stuff he generally does.

All in all enjoyable popcorn fare with some loathsome villains but you can see the many films they liberally borrow from (Enter The Dragon mirror sequence being foremost) and it's forgotten an hour after you leave the theater.
