Review of Skyscraper (2018) by Mike L — 24 Jul 2018
When a skinny 30-something year old man is able to utterly beat up Dwayne Johnson, you know Skyscraper is not operating in the realm of reality. Nevertheless, this completely improbable and ridiculous plot did manage to entertain and hold a decent amount of suspense.
It raises several questions and plot holes not worth answering, but this mildly derivative action thriller is totally worth it for the futuristic tower, Dwayne Johnson hanging from it by his fingertips, and Neve Campbell getting her chance to fight back and be the unsung hero of the film.
