Review of Skyline (2010) by Aparna S — 26 Apr 2012
In a world where Monsters, Cloverfield and War of the Worlds have already been made, there is absolutely no need for this derivative b-movie schlock nonsense to exist. Towards the end it almost enters so-bad-it's-good territory - with classic lines of dialogue like "something is happening", a priceless slow-motion "nooooooo!!!!" and an escape plan that involves a bed-sheet covering a window.
They clearly ran out of money at the end of the film - there is no other explanation for the worst movie ending in living memory. Disturbing.
