Similar to Starship Troopers and Showgirls, the critics will come to later reflect upon this movie and realize their mistake in providing such a poor review. So many action/sci fi/thrillers leave you unconcerned about the fate of the protagonists, but this movie has you believing that they're up against an insurmountable foe and that they, with the rest of the world will meet with suffering followed by doom.
