I really don't understand why this film is so hated. Ok it isn't high culture cinema but it was fun. I love alien invasion movies and this is the kind of thing I have nightmares about! Very good special effects considering the budget! You don't watch these films for the story, script or the acting, you watch them for the action set pieces and the crazy effects and for that reason this film was certainly worth the rental.
