Review of Skyline (2010) by Cassandra B — 10 May 2012
This move has received some pretty crummy reviews but I quite enjoyed it. The alien invasion of Los Angeles gets underway immediately and it soon becomes apparent they are harvesting humans for their brains.
What do our small group of survivors do, hide? run? Meet War of the Worlds and Independence Day on a low budget. The characters are bland and the acting marginal although the special effects are impressive.
Silly escapism.
