"DON'T LOOK INTO THE LIGHT".
- 'Skyline' is a 2010 sci-fi-thriller directed and produced by the brothers Strause (Alien vs Predator: Requiem). The film deals with LA being invaded by very deadly aliens. The special effects are good and the creatures are intriguing, but the plot has many mistakes and no real backbone to it. Along the way I even got a bit annoyed by how the story was progressing. It had potential. Starring Eric Balfour (24, ), Scottie Thompson (NCIS, Star Trek 2009), Brittany Daniel (Club Dread, White Chicks), David Zayas (13, 16 Blocks) and Donald Faison (Remember the Titans, Kick-Ass 2).
Jarrod (Balfour) and his girlfriend Elaine (Thompson) are visiting Jarrod's best friend Terry (Faison)and his sexy wife Candice (Daniel) in LA to celebrate his birthday. The party is held in Terry's penthouse. During the night, when everyone has fallen asleep, blue lights come falling from the sky. Anyone who looks right into it, gets drawn to it. Waking up to the screams of thousands of people, Jarrod and his friends realize that aliens have come to earth to abduct the human race. Who will survive the alien apocalypse?
