By all accounts it sucks, but it did redeem itself if only a little bit with amazing visuals. I'm not sure if it was trying to be the Rear Window or Anne Frank, but it failed either way so I suppose it doesn't matter.
Visuals alone were not enough to save this film from poor scripting, bad acting, and one of the worst budget cut off endings of all time.
