Great FX (for CG), some original alien designs, break neck pacing and that's pretty much the end of the good things. Much like the Strause brothers previous film, AVP: Requiem, the film is all about the FX and monsters with no originality or development given to the plot or its characters.
And there's the abrupt ending which leaves much to be desired.
