Review of Skyline (2010) by Dana R — 01 May 2012

Let's hear it for Skyline. Okay, the script is less than average and the characters refuse to rate much in the sympathy stakes, but apart from that what is there to dislike? The film is obviously a hybrid of Aliens, Independence Day, The War of the Worlds and Cloverfield but it delivers on the promises of all four and some.

This includes the resolutely dark ending which is better than that usually contrived by other equally absurd but entertaining alien-invasion Sci Fi movies.
