Review of Skyfall (2012) by Kendall C — 10 Feb 2015
This is one of the best movies I've ever seen and one of the best Bond movies I've seen as well. Its near perfect, with the greatest Bond villain of all time. At first I was skeptical about Sam Mendes taking the Director helm for this movie, but I'll tell ya-he was the perfect choice. The movie's cinematography is simply jaw droppingly beautiful and the action scenes are filmed to perfection. None of that shakey cam bullshit from Quantum. Javier Bardem is creepy, intellectual and pissed off in his role as Silva, an Ex MI6 agent and shit goes down in this movie. Just like the Dark Knight Rises, this Third Bond installment closes out perfectly.
