Review of Skyfall (2012) by Karam A — 20 Apr 2016

I hate James Bond, and hated Casino Royale and Spectre, but I loved this! I think Daniel Craig is a great actor, and Sam Mendes is a great director, and both are at one of their highest points, and definitely work well together! Excellent fight and action scenes, I was hooked from the beginning all the way to the end! Great plot, having 007 fake his death and have to come back for something big really worked for me, as well as him not being 100% and needing some training! All the performances are phenomenal, especially Daniel Craig and Javier Bardem! Javier Bardem's character was perfect, and used so well! The writing was excellent! The mystery was great and I was intrigued the whole time, and it payed off well! It's surprisingly funny too! I think if they would have cut some of the scenes that at some points got a little slow and made it feel longer, it could have been better, but they didn't take away from the experience, and you never really feel bored either.

You just want it to move forward and get back to the good stuff!
