Review of Skyfall (2012) by Daniel P — 24 Jun 2014
"shaken, not stirred".
The classic James Bond is back and he's ready to kick some more a**. In this movie, you will see James Bond go back to his roots after he is shot once by an enemy spy, and another by a friendly MI6 agent off the top of a moving train (by accident).
After miraculously surviving the bullet wounds, James Bond returns to MI6 (after he had time to relax and afterwards being proclaimed dead). But after testing to see if he was ready to return to the line of duty, it turned out that he wasn't the agent he used to be and failed all of his field tests. Watch as James Bond takes on one of his biggest challenges yet by having to become the agent he once was by fighting his new arch-nemesis, Silva.
Once more, in my opinion, Daniel Craig has proven himself that he is the true James Bond. And Javier Bardem proves to be a fantastic antagonist in the film as Silva who pushes Bonds to his limits while also being able to add some comic relief while doing so. And who doesn't love Judi Dench as "M"? She is one tough old lady that still knows how to make a few wise-cracks.
