Review of Skyfall (2012) by Christian C — 23 Jul 2018
Skyfall 007 is a spectacular movie and one of the greatest all time. It starts with showing that Bond is a human like all of us and not a one man army when he gets shot not once, but twice (sorry for the minor spoiler, but it is in the trailers). The theme song is the best one yet delivering haunting and grim visuals and the only song by Adele that I like (sorry Adele lovers, but I have only heard three of her songs). From there on Skyfall is a thrill ride delivering great scenery and visuals as well as making you think along the way. The climax at Skyfall is one of the greatest climaxes ever and that fight alone deserves a best picture nomination. Craig is the best Bond (yes, I have seen EVERY 007 film) and those that doubt him (unless you favor Connery, than I see your point) than I don't trust your judgement. Some people are going to hate me for saying this but this is kind of underrated. This is the Dark Knight of the spy universe and that 86% Audience Score I am not convinced with. In the end, Skyfall 007 is one of my favorite films to date and deserves recognition all around.
-10/10.
