Review of Skyfall (2012)

By James Kendrick (1,607) for Q Network Film Desk (1,607) on 15 Nov 2012

A crackerjack Bond film that cannily mixes the harder, more severe edges of the previous Craig films with a sly sense of humor…

Review of Skyfall (2012)

By Paul Chambers (522) for Movie Chambers (386) on 15 Nov 2012

The latest James Bond adventure proves, at least in my opinion, that Craig has grasped the role better than any of his predecessors, including…

Review of Skyfall (2012)

By Yasmin Vought (2) for MovieFIX (60) on 14 Nov 2012

Skyfall succeeds in providing epic escapism with just the right balance of action, art-house aesthetics and melodrama…

Review of Skyfall (2012)

By Ken Hanke (2,234) for Mountain Xpress (Asheville, NC) (2,247) on 14 Nov 2012

I had more fun with it than I didn't, which is more than I can say about a lot of these big budget event movies…

Review of Skyfall (2012)

By Glenn Kenny (1,728) for MSN Movies (470) on 13 Nov 2012

Quantum of Solace,' was a dour, dire letdown. This picture's a substantial bounce back, and easily the best Craig Bond picture…

Review of Skyfall (2012)

By Kelly Vance (1,015) for East Bay Express (1,012) on 13 Nov 2012

Bardem's Silva and the spectacular image-making breathe new life into the old firm. Bond-age has rarely been so much fun…

Review of Skyfall (2012)

By Fr. Chris Carpenter (308) for Movie Dearest (271) on 13 Nov 2012

Indeed one of the very best in the series' 50-year history…

Review of Skyfall (2012)

By John Beifuss (1,947) for Commercial Appeal (Memphis, TN) (1,944) on 12 Nov 2012

If our 21st-century spies must be dark instead of Pop, let them be presented with as much conviction and professionalism as in 'Skyfall,' the…

Review of Skyfall (2012)

By Tim Brayton (2,283) for Antagony & Ecstasy (1,911) on 12 Nov 2012

While [the film] gets more emotional and resonant as it goes on, it also gets much slower and narrower in scope…

Review of Skyfall (2012)

By Widgett Walls (433) for Needcoffee.com (433) on 12 Nov 2012

Traveling the world, solving a mystery, hunting people down, killing some of those people...everything that you want James Bond to do…

Review of Skyfall (2012)

By Simon Miraudo (882) for Quickflix (709) on 12 Nov 2012

Skyfall might stand as the lone example of a satisfying, standalone narrative blending with all those tried-and-true Bond tropes…

Review of Skyfall (2012)

By Glenn Lovell (434) for CinemaDope (253) on 12 Nov 2012

a bang-up job of interweaving arty visuals. dour backstory, in-jokes, and, for the series faithful, heartfelt comings and goings…

Review of Skyfall (2012)

By Luke Y. Thompson (1,447) for Nerdist (550) on 12 Nov 2012

just as Marc Forster went off the rails in Quantum of Solace during that silly horse-race juxtaposition, so too does Mendes go overboard…

Review of Skyfall (2012)

By Christian Toto (897) for Big Hollywood (212) on 12 Nov 2012

The villain isn't intent on destroying the world, and the gadgets consist of items you might find at The Sharper Image…

Review of Skyfall (2012)

By Richard Knight (277) for Windy City Times (216) on 11 Nov 2012

Skyfall's 143-minute running time doesn't seem a bit extended…

Review of Skyfall (2012)

By Fred Topel (1,193) for CraveOnline (813) on 11 Nov 2012

By this point, rejecting the Bond formula has become a cliché itself. It's been three movies, you can't still play the 'This is the NEW Bond' card…

Review of Skyfall (2012)

By Pete Vonder Haar (745) for Houston Press (294) on 11 Nov 2012
