Disney, you have no concept of what high school is like. Stop making high school movies. This plot is extremely cliche. They've just taken one of their recyclable Disney Channel Movie plots and slapped on a weak superhero premise.
Also, a superhero movie needs better special effects than this. The effects are abysmal; TV movie grade. I can't believe this was in theaters. It's a wonder Disney still has any supporters at all.
