I liked the premise, and it pains me that I didn't enjoy the film. The story begins as interesting, you get a genuine feel that this is a superhero film like no other, but then it takes a completely different turn and becomes incredibly predictable and you no just how everything is going to turn out, with no subtlety for the characters.
There were plenty of times, mostly to do with the fire guy, where I found things incredibly illogical and didn't make sense. The acting was sub par, and the characters really stock. The special effects I thought had way too much of an emphasis on, and they were ok at best.
Ultimately, the film suffers for me because it makes an attempt at being funny, which it isn't.
