Review of Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow (2004) by John P — 15 Apr 2009

I like this because the retro-futuristic finish appeals to me. I'd rather see giant robots that look like toys than Michael Bay's shitty 'feasible' Transformers. Jude Law brings a characteristic nothing to the film, but he gets away with it on account of Sky Captain being a cardboard cut out of a character anyway.

Also, guns which fire circles of laser are cool.
