For as inventive and purposefully over-the-top as this movie is, it's biggest downfall is the lack of chemistry between Gwyneth Paltrow and Jude Law. The true sorrow is that not only are they poor actors in this particular film, but it's somewhat evident that they don't believe in the project themselves.
