Review of Skinned Alive (2004) by Carl N — 20 Feb 2009
This film plays out a lot like an episode of masters of horror. Although this movie has the zombie/cannibalistic angle, this is more of a surreal love story than a horror film. Melissa Bacelar, stars as Pandora a zombie ghoul-like prostitute who falls for sad and lonely Jeffrey.
Pandora is not satisfied unless she has human flesh to eat, and Jeffrey becomes her accomplice in luring in unsuspecting snacks. Add to this a vicious hit-man gunning for Pandora and you get very enjoyable film.
