Highly unnecessary, extremely familiar, but well-acted and paced serial killer thriller. Lots of great action on the Hollywood Boulevard in 1977, with Star Wars at Grauman's and Coma across the street.
Allen Garfield (Goorwitz) is fascinating in the lead.
