Review of Skellig (2009) by Phil S — 28 May 2009

I watched this with my 12 year old and she loved this, but I must admit I found it very very boring.

Bill Milner showed the same vulnerability as he did in Son of Rambow, and has the makings of a fine actor, and Tim Roth was fairly convincing as the repellent Skellig, but neither had the ability to drag this to anything more than what it is..a fairly bog standard Sunday afternoon film.

So much promise, but so disappointing. Shame really.
