Review of Sixty Six (2006) by Courtney T — 31 Mar 2008
Enjoyable comedy drama about a young boy who's realised his Bar Mitzvah is going to clash with the 1966 world cup final which leads him to question his importance to the people around him. Great performances by Helena Bonham Carter as the boy's mother and the young man himself.
It's one of those films that will not live long in the memory but is worth watching. It's just ashame that its about the England football team who are shit.
