A classic from the 80's. One of those famous teen films that was geared for a female audience. The movie stars Molly Ringwald. She of course plays a teenager who is about to turn sixteen. This is a big moment for her and she wants it to be special.
But will everyone else she knows even care or remember this event in her life. This is a solid teen movie. It has a solid young cast. Molly Rongwald is very good in the main role. The story is good but again this is more geared for the young female audience.
Also the movie is very dated now. It has that 80's look and feel to many movies during that time. Overall though this was still a good film. Worth a watch.
