Review of Sixteen Candles (1984) by Jon C — 13 Mar 2010
Wow.
Another great movie.
John Hughes knew what he was doing making teenaged-centered stories.
'Sixteen Candles' has quotable lines, cute moments, awesome directing and a fine cast.
Its amazing how much we care about these characters and really connect with each of their coming of age and turning points in their lives.
Molly Ringwald is flawless as a struggling 16-year old who wants that hunk who's unattainable.
And of course you cant forget Anthony Michael Hall and his loveable dimwittedness.
