Review of Sixteen Candles (1984) by Nelson P — 27 Jul 2010
While Breakfast Club tries to handle the seriousness of social peers, and Ferris Beuller's Day Off just solidifies the ultimate 80's experience with some great performances and total hip coolness, Sixteen Candles is just a crazy fun romp through the perils of being a teenager.
I still hold the belief that it's inferior to Breakfast Club, but it's a must see when you're a tween.
