Sixteen Candles exemplifies perfectly why I love so much Hughes films. Ringwald plays delightfully a teenager amidst the peak of its teen life, when she turns sixteen years-old. While a comedy, the movie is a fine portrayal of the confusion that goes through a teenager mind.
