Girl who's a teen and no popular but not unpopular and is secretly in love with the cutest guy in school who seems to already have the perfect girlfriend. The only attention she receives after everyone forgets her birthday is from a dork she couldn't be more annoyed by.

But after a lost note winds up with her dream guy, things eventually turn around for Samantha. One of my favorites.
