Review of Sixteen Candles (1984) by Hannah D — 21 Sep 2013

I really like Director John Hughes' work, and I like Molly Ringwald as an actress. This is another high quality teen angst offering that deals with the subject of unrequited school crushes. It is really interesting for the most part, but it gets a bit too slapstick in the final third and started to lose my attention somewhat, but at just 90 mins long, it was the right length, and there is a satisfying conclusion.
