Review of Sixteen Candles (1984) by Andrew R — 18 Nov 2012
For a 1984 movie, Sixteen Candles has all the raunchiness of a 2010 movie, but with much more timeless appeal to it.
At its core is a movie that exaggerates the high school life to show that not everything is what it may seem to be.
Everyone goes into this movie with once conception and ends up being blown away by the laughter and sentimentality of another view.
As for myself, I've learned that with enough confidence, anything is possible to do...even the high school prom queen.
