Review of Six Shooter (2004) by Lilian W — 03 Nov 2009
McDonagh's short comedy is a wicked stab at the space between human beings, and the bizarre strand that connects us all. It bounces back and forth between being brazenly funny and awkwardly dark, and "the joke" is taken one step too far in the film's failed last attempt at humor.
However, strongly drawn characters and interesting exchanges make the majority of this ride worth taking.
