Review of Six Degrees of Separation (1993) by Diane O — 19 Nov 2006
Aside from Ali, this will forever be Will Smith's best movie performance. And with Stockard Channing and Donald Sutherland, not to mention Anthony Michael Hall (all grown up, filled out and first coming really into his own) involved, this movie shows that Will Smith is more than just a Rapper turned actor. It just lets us know that rapping was his way to get into the business and do what he really wanted.
If you like movies that show you a different side of life or what it's like being some one else and the talent it takes to pull the lie off, i.e. BS artists at their best. Then this is the movie for you.
