In general I'm a huge fan of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, especially their chemistry together. The plus side is that they still had chemistry in this movie, it was the only thing about the film that I really enjoyed.
However, I found most of the gags and jokes to be weak. I found the story itself to be passable but not praiseworthy. And I was disappointed at the fact that the movie didn't make me laugh out loud at all.
Not once. Maya Rudolph had some funny moments but overall I expected more, especially from Amy and Tina who usually kill it with the comedic timing. If you're looking for an okay movie that's full of corny and cringe-worthy moments then this is the one for you.
If you're looking for a laugh out loud comedy that you'll want to watch again and again, this is not the film for you.
