Review of Sisters (2015) by Gavin P — 03 May 2016
An OK 'midlife crisis' comedy, saved by Fey & Poehler's chemistry together. While they're fun to watch, there's actually not that many jokes or laugh out loud moments - a fair bit of yelling and swearing, but a lot of stuff falls flat.
The main let down is the plot is basically a 90min house party - far too dragged out & been done so many times before. Needed more Leguizamo, but unfortunately Rudolph's character didn't work.
OK, but I expect more form these two.
