Review of Sister My Sister (1994) by Darryl C — 03 Jan 2008
Despite how uncomfortable this film made me feel, it was really good. I like the way their story was portrayed. It wasn't saying that they were crazy bitches that murdered their employees. It was saying that any person in their position would go insane.
And although their relationship was strange and abnormal, it was sort of beautiful. All they had was each other. It's quite clear that Christine Papin suffered from mental illness which probably contributed to the gruesome murder.
Such a tragic story.
