Review of Sister My Sister (1994) by Tara G — 28 Dec 2009
I have just finished watching this movie on youtube. Well this movie is interesting but uncomfortable to watch at times. So this movie is definitely NOT for any random movie viewer. I suggest the movie viewer to be quite open-minded because the underlining dependency each sister needs, the movie viewer could easily over look that aspect by focusing on the physical intimacy that occurs.
The acting is effective; however the writing is muddled. There is much focus on the older sister; I wanted to see more of the younger sister's personality. Also the sisters being maids and how they struggled with that, could have been explained more.
I wanted to get a more effective sense of why the tragedy. I would not mind watching the movie again; maybe I would pick up on something that clues in to each sister that I did not notice before.
