Review of Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit (1993) by Angela K — 24 Apr 2011
I loved this film! It was so good I had to watch it a second time! Deloris Van Cartier (Whoopi Goldberg) who has helped the nuns before is here to help again. Sister Mary Clarence is going to help out the catholic school which is in doomed for foreclosure. She becomes a music teacher and she has got her hand full with the kids in this class.
When she first started off in the class it was in the basement of the school and didn't look like a classroom at all. The kids didn't really want anything to do with her but after she put down the rules she loses one of her most talented students become the students' mother doesn't want her singing. Sister Mary Clarence gives the kids so much to look forward to when they go to class. She believes in them so much that they enter the county wide music competition. When their school name is called, and when the kids walk out to the stage they are nervous but very excited to give the crowd something new. They sing a joyful song but in their own way. In the end doing something different can work out in a good way. This film has taught me how to go for what I believe. This film was the most inspiring film I have seen lately.
