Review of Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit (1993) by Jared C — 09 Apr 2010
Deloris is back as a nun and this time helping out her fellow nun friends at St.Francis high school with a class of misbehaved and lazy students who don't know they have a real gift for singing. When Deloris eavesdrop on news that the school is doomed to close. Deloris decides to save the school by turning her music class into a choir. It will involve lots of practice, lots of effort, lots of love for music can they pull this off, only God knows. Amen.
Unlike the first one, the sceond one is now based more on teenager struggles. However there is good songs once again sung by Whoopi Goldberg including a Las Vegas showcase at the beginning. Whoopi brings it all back again for this one. While this one has laughs and a heart to it. The first one is more a classic than this one, but what the hell enjoy the singing and the music, not to mention the laughs on Whoopi's side.
