An absolute nineties hit, Sister Act hits all the right notes and was perhaps the greatest performance Whoopi Goldberg has ever given. With a variety of hilarious nuns, a delightfully shrill performance from Maggie Smith and some award-winning music this should be the film that will define Christmas for me from now on.
And despite what everyone says, it's far better than the sequel.
