Review of Sister Act (1992) by Constanza B — 23 Aug 2009
High concept yet flyweight caper so pleasurable it's sinful. Despite being predictable and sappy, this is a funny and happy conventional comedy, most of the humor deriving from the secular antics of Whoopi Goldberg.
One look at her in a nun's habit is all it takes to provoke giggling. The joy of the musical numbers makes it difficult to resist.
