This is a very good scary movie. It starts out beautifully, the timing is perfect and some of the scenes are creepy as hell. The only reason I won't give it 4.5 or 5 stars is because it had a weak ending.

Everything else was GREAT, except the ending. Some people will disagree with me on the ending and that's cool but I thought it took something away from the movie. If you want a good scare, watch it.

..and yes with the lights off! It was better than Insidious but the best modern scary film is The Conjuring...
