Review of Sinister (2012) by Francisco P — 28 Jul 2013
Although the ending is a limp let down, the rest of the film is atmospheric, pure terror. With a director that understands imagination is more terrifying than visuals and a commanding performance from Hawke, "Sinister" is a rare horror film that keeps the viewer intrigued.
This is more "Alien" than "Insidious".
