Review of Sinister (2012) by John W — 09 Aug 2013

The first time I watched this movie I loved it, but the second time I watched it I didn't like it. It could be because the people I watched it with hated it and did a good job of cutting it up, but I feel like I might have just noticed things I didn't before.

There's a couple of scenes that will make you jump, but all in all I loved the movie (the first time I saw it) because of the evil fellow in the movie. I thought Ethan Hawk and his family were boring as hell. Who gives a damn about a tenuous marriage or a career when there's something like this going on? The evil thing (I call it that for the sake of avoiding spoiling anything) saves the movie with its creepy nature.
