I mean, though it did jump on the whole slow-moving horror movie trend of the 10's (you know what I'm talking about), it's its own thing. Even though Ethan Hawke is a total annoying dunce in this film, it moved along enough and got itself over with.
And Sinister 2? Good luck pulling that one off while staying above 59% on the Tomatometer.
