Review of Sinister 2 (2015) by Hugo G — 24 Aug 2015
Sinister 2's attempts to live up to the first installment are thwarted by following the same formulaic progression of the first's story, this time adding in tasteless, cliched jump scares that prevent the viewer from feeling any real terror when danger is actually present.
Overall, it was enjoyable, carried by the great acting of the leads, but deserves a spot in the beloved category of "pointless horror sequels" due to having nothing to add to the overall story.
